Technical Services Deployment Technician
Our client is a world-class end-to-end IT services provider who works with organisations from all sectors around the globe.
Working in a Field capacity, you will have the opportunity to be involved with various Infrastructure and hardware projects. These projects can vary from Retail projects including Point of Sale decommission and rollouts working with printers, scanners and till systems or corporate projects including working with desktops, laptops and tablets and providing various support tasks.
These roles will require people who are self-motivated and able to communicate at a high level with business-critical customers. You must also have a strong work ethic and be adaptable to learning new skills at speed.
The upgrades will be based across a few locations across QLD and Regional Brisbane and adequate training on the processes will be provided. Shift options include:
• Day shift at 11:45am start
• Afternoon shift at 4:45pm start
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have:
• Full, clean Driver's License and your own vehicle.
• Desktop support/rollout experience using Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, Remote Desktop
• Previous PoS (Point of Sales) hardware implementation or diagnostic experience - would be beneficial.
• Ability to travel to project sites (City locations and Reginal)
• Excellent communication skills.
• A strong work ethic coupled with a can-do attitude.
