Your key responsibilities will be
Proactively analyse the platform to identify performance improvements that can be addressed by the Site Reliability Engineering team
Focus on delivering features related to the system's scalability, security, software currency, Application Hot-fixes and reliability.
Develop internal team tooling to aid in the maintenance, performance and reliability of the platform
Maintain and engineer performance improvements to existing cloud environments
Improve current processes via automation to reduce manual effort
Become a go to person for developers and service team members for troubleshooting
Review logs and monitor using Splunk, AppDynamics and other tools
Problem solve technical issues raised by customers both internal and external
Work closely with developers, devops, and senior site reliability engineers to execute platform requirements and priorities
You will bring
Ability to handle incident response, problem-solving, and communication with stakeholders.
Proficiency in performance tuning, stress testing, and optimizing system performance. (Using Any performance or reliance tools)
Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and visualization using Power BI/Splunk/APPD and related tools.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with AWS particularly EC2, ECS, VPC, Cloudwatch and Cloudformation
Experience with scripting languages
Ability to problem solve end to end across a technology stack
Salary range $80k - $95k p/a
