Lead Appian Developer
We’re seeking a skilled Lead Appian Developer to join our client’s team and contribute to the development of a brand-new solution on the Appian platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, enhance, and support Appian applications
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other Appian developers
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality and encourage knowledge sharing
• Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for applications and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues when they arise
Required Skills:
• 8 years Appian Development with Lead experience
• Experience across large enterprise companies (ideally 2000-5000 staff environment)
• Preferred Superanuation or Financial Industry experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of MySQL or similar relational databases
• Ability to write and reuse common components and objects
• Comfortable working in an Agile team environment (familiarity with JIRA/Kanban is a plus)
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work alongside Business Analysts and Stakeholders
• Appian Certification is essential
• Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) is a bonus
