CAPACITY UPLIFT SOLUTION PROGRAM

Find out why and when our Capacity Uplift Solutions Program was created.

WHY WAS CUSP CREATED?

Leaders IT developed the Capacity Uplift Solutions Program (CUSP) to address the critical IT talent shortage in Australia. Established in 2020, CUSP has evolved into its current form in response to the Tech Council of Australia's 2021 report, which forecasted a demand for 1.2 million new IT professionals by 2030. This demand underscores the necessity of accommodating an additional 653,000 tech workers in Australia.

To tackle this challenge, Leaders IT collaborated with clients and industry stakeholders to identify talent gaps and designed CUSP to focus on development, retention, and diversification of the talent pool.

The program offers:

  • 12 months of full-time employment with placements in host organisations
  • 26 structured mentoring sessions
  • Tailored development plans
  • Industry-relevant certifications

This comprehensive, hands-on experience ensures participants are well-prepared to excel in their roles. CUSP also prides itself on a 50/50 gender split and includes participants from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Find those on the CUSP of greatness at Leaders IT and be part of an innovative solution to Australia's IT talent shortage.
